This piece is about ‘flow’. The flow state is a powerful participant in creativity, and every stage of my process - from writing to performing a finished piece - requires me to access this state deeply within myself. Having been influenced by the philosopher Gilles Deleuze and the renowned Taoist book ‘Tao Te Ching’, I built the music around the image of constantly moving water.
