‘Break Out’ came out of an experience I had using the Silva Method, a meditation technique I use for healing and self-improvement. During one of my meditations, a memory resurfaced from when I was around 4 or 5 years old. I was sitting in our breakfast room with my mother, who was preparing me for a maths test I had to take in school. I ended up doing badly in the test; maths was a difficult subject for me. I remember the feeling of intense pressure and stress in my body as I strained to understand the questions. Then, in my meditation I suddenly experienced a flash of white light in my vision as if the memory had exploded. When I came out of the meditation, I felt a shift in the energy around my body. The restrictions I had imposed on myself as a child had disintegrated.
